Design a Group Policy Strategy

Group Policy applies security and other computer configuration settings based on granular criteria within an organization. Because the level of control is quite granular and the rules to be applied can be very complex, the design of Group Policy is very important. For example,having too many GPOs can slow down logons  significantly.
This objective looks at design of Group Policy in an enterprise, focusing on the areas specified in the 70-413 exam objectives. Central to design of Group Policy is designing an Organizational Unit (OU) structure that supports the organization’s Group Policy needs. The infrastructure such as Active Directory and other lower-level prerequisites also must all be in place for Group Policy design to take place.
