Configuring DirectAccess

Here we start Configuring DirectAccess.You configure DirectAccess through the Remote Access Management Console. After the Getting Started Wizard is run the first time, you can change the settings for DirectAccess in this console by clicking the Edit button on any of the four main configuration areas:
- Client
-Remote Access Server
-Infrastructure Server
-Application Server


The changes are then applied to the configuration accordingly. For example, you can change the IP address assignment configuration from DHCP to a static pool of IPs within the Remote Access server configuration section. You can also set the compliance and support for down-level (Windows 7) computers in the Authentication pane of the Remote Access Setup Wizard as well, as shown in Figure 3-13

In the Infrastructure Server configuration, you can change settings such as the Network Location Server to use and other settings related to ancillary servers used in the Remote Access deployment.
