Configuring Remote Access clustered with NLB

Network Load Balancing (NLB) can be used for Remote Access to provide greater availability and to enable the load to be shared among more than one server. NLB must be installed as a feature through the Add Roles and Features Wizard before enabling it in Remote Access.
To configure NLB, invoke the Enable Load Balancing Wizard from the Configuration section of the Remote Access Management Console. This wizard verifies settings and enables you to set the dedicated IP (DIP) to be used for the load-balanced cluster for both IPv4 and IPv6. Two special configuration items that might be different for a deployment include the IPv6 Prefix, which must be 59 for the load-balancing configuration, and the IP Address Assignment. The prefix is configured on the Prefix Configuration pane of the Remote Access Setup Wizard, as shown in Figure 3-11.
