Monitoring replication is accomplished through two command-line tools:
- repadmin /showrepl
- dcdiag /test:replications
Certain replication events also can be found in the directory service event viewer.
Several types of errors might occur with replication, including errors related to lag or slowness of replication and permission errors. Table 5-1 describes some common problems and their resolution.
